Telescope Eye goldfish are docile and friendly
The
Telescope Eye goldfish,
are also known as Dragon Eye goldfish.
As its name suggests, this type of goldfish has large protruding eyes. Its brother’s are the
Black Moor,
and
Panda Moor.
Telescope Eye goldfish, come in a wide array of colors, the black ones are Panda Moor’s and the black and white ones are Panda Moor’s, but all other color combinations fall into the group of Telescope Eye fish.
These fish have short egg shaped bodies, with paired pelvic and anal fins. They fall into the ‘fancy goldfish’ category because of their beautiful flowing tail fins.
These fish have difficulty seeing as they can only see things at a certain angle. They like to feed at the bottom of the fish tank, as food is easier to find. To give them a variety of different foods using a feeding clip is a good idea. You can attach spinach, cucumber and other veggies in the clip and attach it to the side of the aquarium with its suction cups. They will get to learn very quickly where their food source is coming from.
These are a docile fish, that swim slowly, but can become very tame.
They live well with other sight impaired goldfish like the
Bubble Eye,
and
Celestial Eye.
Other types of goldfish include:
